the Aurora Nickel Project's Contained Nickel could potential supply >705K EVs, that's >5 years of Canadian EVs

Bloomberg New Energy Finance estimates a 100kWh battery requires ~145 pounds of nickel.  This is more than 5x the total 2023 new Battery EV registrations in Canada.

The silica in high-quality quartz can be used to make silicon metal, a key component in solar energy panels.
